In 1998 my roommate and I were excited to see the upcoming Armageddon. Unfortunately the reality of this movie did not meet our expectations. I personally ended up with a headache that lasted for three days. Talking after the movie we thought how often Hollywood, with all of the best of intentions, fall short of our hopes and dreams. We decided that we needed to honor these movies and as such we created The How Dare You Awards. They were created not as a punishment but in celebration of the bad movies we both love and hate. The How Dare You Awards are a yearly awards show that honor the biggest wastes of valuable production dollars in Hollywood for the past year.

Each year our nominating committee puts together our nominations and then the winners are picked by you, the people.
